Frequently asked questions
What is WooJam?
WooJam is an app for bands, groups and musicians that brings together the management of events, rehearsals, files and scores: a calendar shared with the members, a file manager linked to the events, repertoire and setlists, AI gig quotes and client forms.
Is WooJam a final release?
Not yet: WooJam is in beta and being tested. Every feature can be used, but it may still change or have a few rough edges. Feedback from people using it in the field helps us improve it before the final release.
Does WooJam work without a connection?
Yes. Calendar, files already opened and annotations stay available offline; changes made without a network sync automatically when you are back online.
Who can see my events and files?
Only you, until you assign them to a group. Group members see events and files with the read or edit permissions you decide, and removing a member revokes access at once. The group’s repertoire and setlists are visible to its members; a setlist becomes public only if you share its link.
How does Director mode work?
The conductor opens a file shared with the group and takes the lead: page turns, bookmarks and drawings reach every member who has the file open in real time.
How do AI quotes work?
Enter the venue and time of the event, vehicles, participants with home and fee, and services. The AI (Google Gemini) suggests who drives which vehicle and who picks up whom; routes, times, fuel and totals are calculated by WooJam. The AI only receives aliases and approximate positions, never names.
Do my clients need an account to fill in a form?
No. Generate the form from the event and send the link: the client fills it in from the browser, even over several visits, and confirms it with “Send”. You get an email and find the answers in the event report.
Can I use my Google account?
Yes. You can sign in with Google, import files from Google Drive read-only and sync events with Google Calendar. Your data stays on WooJam.
Do I need to install anything?
No. WooJam works in the browser and, if you want, installs as an app on smartphones, tablets and computers straight from the sign-in page.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. From the Plans page of the app you can move to a paid plan with a secure Stripe payment and manage or cancel the subscription whenever you like; storage and features update straight away.
